ANF Ministry Guide 📖

How can I serve in a ministry? 🤔

There are many ways to serve the body of Christ at ANF and many ministries that we have created, each according to different SHAPE’s we may have! In order to serve in a ministry, we ask that you first become a member of our church. From there, we offer a guided step approach in order to discover your talents, past experiences, and current availabilities to best match you to a ministry.

  • If you are interested in serving, you might already be a member of our church! If so, you can move onto the next step.

    If you are not currently a member of our church and are interested in becoming one, we ask that you take our Newcomers Class and Membership Class, in that order!

  • Great! Now you’re a member of our church.

    Next, you will need to take the “Discovering My Ministry” class taught by Danny Kim. This class is offered on an as-needed basis, so please reach out to Danny Kim or info@anfdallas.org for more information about this class.

  • As you take the class, you will learn about your SHAPE, or Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences, which are unique to each person. Understanding your SHAPE will allow you to best minister to the needs of others and your church.

    After completing the class, you will be asked to complete your SHAPE Profile for Pastor Daniel to review.

  • After you have completed your SHAPE profile, you are ready to think about which ministries you would like to serve in!

    Considering your SHAPE and also the current needs of the church, you will choose 3 potential primary ministries and 3 potential secondary ministries.

  • After you have submitted your SHAPE Profile and Ministry Sign Up Form, you are ready to meet with Pastor Daniel!

    You will have a 30min 1:1 meeting with PD to review your SHAPE Profile together and discuss which ministry/ministries you may be interested in serving.
