Coffee and Bible
Hi ANF!
We have been doing Coffee and Bible (CAB) on Saturdays for many years. Jason led the ministry very well this past year, and I appreciate him and all the people who faithfully attended. The purpose of CAB is to encourage people to read the Bible more. It is always important for us read the Bible in order for us to grow in our relationships with God. I hope you will continue to set a goal for yourself to attend CAB and read the Bible more next year. Next year, however, the format of CAB will be changing. When we gather for CAB, let’s have a time of morning devotion. We all know the importance of daily devotional time. But I often hear from people that they don’t know how to do so meaningfully and deeply. It would be great if we could develop a Godly habit of having a daily devotional time with God and grow into a deeper relationship with Him through CAB. The daily devotional book we will use is “My Utmost for His Highest” by Oswald Chambers. I have been using this book for the past twenty years, and it still inspires me. If you don’t have it, I want to encourage you to buy one. If you just graduated from TLBS, the church will gift you a copy as part of your graduation gift. I urge you all to develop a Godly habit of having a meaningful daily devotional time and hope that you will join me for Coffee and Bible next year.
